Confirm the power supply, speaker input, volume level, cartridge connection, and whether the phono / line output setting matches your amplifier or powered speakers.

Keep the source device close, remove old pairing records, restart both devices, and avoid placing the turntable directly beside a router or microwave.

Check the 33 / 45 speed setting, belt placement, platter seating, and whether the record itself is designed for the selected speed.

Use a soft stylus brush from back to front only. Use a record brush before each play and avoid liquid cleaners unless recommended for your record type.
